Joyful Noise is a homeschool band comprised of three ensembles (Beginner, Cadet, Concert) for ages 10-18 based in the Chippewa Valley of Wisconsin, est. 2022.
We strive to have fun, work hard, and make great music together!
Meeting THURSDAY afternoons at Bethesda for Fall & Spring 12-week semesters.

Interested in learning more about Joyful Noise Homeschool Band? Come on May 8th at 11:30 am to learn about the band, hear instrument demonstrations, and then try out the instruments for yourself to see which instrument you might want to play in the band! Enter Door 8 at Bethesda Lutheran Church to get to the Choir Room.

We have Beginner Band, Cadet Band and Concert Band ensembles.
*NEW Fall 2024 Cadet Band for intermediate level students.*
Students with prior experience on their instruments are welcome to audition for Cadet Band or Concert Band in August or January.
Spring 2025 Schedule:
Lessons begin Thurs, Feb 20 at Bethesda Lutheran in Eau Claire. No band on Maundy Thursday (April 17).
Beginner Band 1:00-1:45
Cadet Band 1:00-1:45
Concert Band 2:00-3:00
Concert Tuesday, May 20 at 7 pm (additional morning "dress" rehearsal that day as well).

SUMMER BAND
Summer Band is offered each August.
Small group lessons for students who are BRAND NEW and for EXPERIENCED musicians.
Thinking of joining as a new student? Watching the videos on the "Instrument Basics & Videos" page will help you choose an instrument!
Students with no prior experience with a band instrument may join the Beginning Band for summer or fall band (private lessons required is Summer Band is not attended).
We perform two concerts per year at the beautiful Heyde Center for the Arts in Chippewa Falls. These are pictures from our 3rd concert, Dec 5, 2023.
